Michael Jester's Slot Machine Proposal

Michael Jester is a Maryland resident who attends the College of Southern Maryland. His parents, Jeff and Jackie, were affiliated with Rosecroft Raceway by driving and training horses for more than 35 years. When Rosecroft Raceway closed down, both parents lost their jobs. All three now travel to Rosecroft occasionally to wager via simulcasting, but nobody in the family is now actively engaged in the business. Michael’s proposal, “Time to Pull the Lever: Bring a Casino to Rosecroft Raceway,” hopes to bring slot machines to Rosecroft, so the racetrack can be as popular as it was 10-20 years ago.
